Megan and Alan Carlisle, Founders of Nature's Twist

Megan & Alan opened Nature’s Twist for business at Pike Place Market in December 2010. From their roots in wire sculpture, their shared passion for the beauty of gemstones led them to electroforming. With Megan’s skill as a designer and Alan’s technical wizardry, this process allows the gemstones to guide the metal and truly highlight the uniqueness of each piece. Every design is lovingly crafted by hand using high quality materials. Nature’s Twist strives to create jewelry for all bodies designed to last for years to come.

Liz brought over 20 years of experience in the jewelry industry with her when she started working for Nature’s Twist in 2018. Originally from Ohio, she has made a home in Tacoma, Washington where she and her husband are raising 2 kids, 2 cute doggos and an embarrassing amount of houseplants.
